A  Beach Profile is a cross-sectional depiction of a beach that provides a view of its slope

Why Do We Need Beach Profiles?

Beach profiles provide useful information for coastal monitoring studies and management processes.

​

How are Beach Profiles used?

To monitor our shorelines over a designated period in order to record how beaches are being deprecated or otherwise affected by catastrophic storms that take place during the hurricane season each year.
